ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - According to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football’s Matt Stepp via X, Odessa Compass Academy has named Midland Legacy Offensive Line Coach Boe Smith as Head Coach for the Cougars.

Odessa Compass has finished the 2022 and 2023 seasons with 4-7 records. In 2023 the team fell in the bi-district round of playoffs.

Smith will be replacing Floyd White who stepped down in early April.
