MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - Thursday afternoon, Texas Tech athletics announced that the upcoming spring football game set for Saturday afternoon in Midland has been canceled due to forecasted thunderstorms in the Permian Basin.

The Red Raiders will host a closed-to-the-public scrimmage instead.
